Iris Intops Fundraising 2024

I am fundraising for my Intops 2024 trip to Norway ... I have already fundraised most of the £1,774.50 costs and I am now on a final push (100km cycle around the Forest of Dean within the next few weeks, with a 10km lane swim later in the summer) to fundraise the final £88.73 ... any "excess" donations will be donated to Breast Cancer UK.

Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and now Rangers have been one of the activities in my life that have helped me (with my Neuro Spicy Awesomeness) to keep myself balanced ... Activities and opportunities like Intops help me interact with others and build the necessary engagement skills to cope with a world that for the most part just doesn't understand me :)

Breast Cancer UK supports invaluable research which has direct relevance to my family and friends ... To be able to support them, once I achieve my fundraising target for the Intops trip, would be absolutely brilliant.

So far my fundraising activities have included volunteering at Westonbirt Arboretum and at the Perth Community Cycle Project, participating in The Cotwolds Marathon, completing a 5km virtual competitive swim, and looking after stands at the Cowley and Kingswood Fetes

Upcoming activities:

I will be attempting to cycle 100km around the Forest of Dean in a couple of weeks time - gear, weather, and time permitting - if everything goes to plan 100km is doable but simply I'll cycle as far as I can in the time I have.

In the summer I will also be attempting a 10km swim - just a little bit more than a usual training session !! - and by the time I do this fundraising for Intops should be complete so all donations will likely go to Breast Cancer UK.

I'll post updates as I complete events and let everyone know how things are progressing.
