Iron Camel in need of our help!

Hey everyone! Ret SSG Tara Garber here. I've set up this account for our brother in arms, Matt Roark. For those of you who don't know him, Matt is a former Iron Camel also. I'm not sure of the years he served, I was in from 99-14, and it seems like he was there the whole time. We deployed in 04-05, OIF 2.

If you've been following, Matt's wife, Tia, has been diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. It has spread through her entire body. She's had surgeries to remove parts of her stomach, bile duct, pancreas, lymph nodes, intestines, etc. Tia,'s prognosis does not look good at this time.

Matt has been trying to work through his own disabilities and struggles to care for his wife and financially support his family. He has recently had difficulty with finances as their vehicle is in the shop and he has no way to even get to work.

I've spoken with Matt and he is too proud to borrow money as he is unsure if/ when he could return it.

If we all could please just pitch in a little and help our brother, I know he would greatly appreciate it, as would his family.

I know times are hard for many of us, so please, if we could each donate $10-20 a each it would help tremendously.
