Hau, mitakuye! (Hello My Relatives!)
We (Manny & Renee), have been invited to visit the lands of Costa Rica and their indigenous peoples! We will be staying with a gracious host at his coffee bean villa. This trip will be from February 17th to February 27th, 2023.
We plan to share with them about our endeavors with repatriation efforts.
As HAWK1890 survivor descendants of Wounded Knee massacre we’ve made efforts to have Private Museums give our relatives sacred items returned to them.
We are asking for financial help to defray any travel incidentals, such as, mileage to airport, airport parking, purchase of beadwork for gifting, etc.
We would appreciate any assistance you feel inclined to share with us. Wophila thanka echiciye pi! (Great Thanks)!
