Irondale --> March for Our Lives
Donation protected
Teen survivors of the massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida are organizing the March for Our Lives in Washington, D.C. on March 24th -- a rally for increased gun control and school safety measures.
There is also a local rally planned for the same day at the Minnesota State Capitol.
Irondale High School students have expressed an interest in engaging in these critical issues -- as alumni, we'd like to help. Students are organizing the logistics of their participation. Our goals are threefold:
1) To provide funding for travel expenses to enable a delegation of Irondale students to participate in the march in Washington.
2) To provide funding for bus transportation for students who want to attend the Minnesota rally.
3) To empower youth to lead on issues related to gun control and school safety.
Please join us in supporting/partnering with Irondale youth to lead their generation toward a future free of gun violence.
This campaign is organized by a group of class of 1999 alumni: K.C. Donahue Sager, Kate Knuth, Sara Murphy DeKok, Chirag Shah and others.
