Irvin Garcia's Funeral
Donation protected
Family means the world to us.
On his way back home from our Christmas Eve celebration, my cousin, Irvin Garcia, was a victim of violence. From Christmas Day until his last breath on December 30th, my whole family has been at the hospital to support and pray for his recovery. Irvin demonstrated his strength in many ways, but this was a battle he could not overcome. On behalf of Irvin’s mom, dad, and brothers, I am asking for your financial support to help arrange a funeral for my cousin.
Irvin was 22 years old when he passed. Born and raised in Chicago, IL.
Irvin was a hardworking man, being able to treat himself to a well-deserved, brand new car, pictured above. He was the cousin who would hug me a little tighter when he’d say hello; he was the cousin with a firm, distinct handshake, and a laugh that you could recognize from a mile away. He’d always play around with the little ones in the family, tickling my cousin, Jair’s tummy or shaking my brother, Giovanni’s hair. I will miss his humor and the love he had for his family and dog, Benny, the most.
If you would like to get to know him a little more, listen to his song, the last one he got to post on his SnapChat: https://youtu.be/Q2JXf1xedjQ
Words cannot express how much my whole family will miss having him here. During this season of giving, I am asking that you help support a funeral service to celebrate Irvin’s young life. I will make sure that all of the funds from this GoFundMe campaign go directly to the immediate family to help facilitate funeral arrangements. Any additional contributions will go toward the emotional healing of his family.
We plan to have the funeral as soon as possible so please feel free to share this page with family and friends.
Thank you in advance for your help.
