Isaac Angulo's Multiple Sclerosis Treatment Fund

Donation protected

The members of the Stanford Chi Alpha grad-student life group are starting this GoFundMe for our dear friend Isaac Angulo. For those that do not know him, Isaac has been suffering from Multiple Sclerosis for the past 5-6 years, a condition that has progressively gotten worse over the course of time. Isaac no longer has the ability to stand up or walk on his own, and suffers from diminishing eyesight, muscle spasms, and limited speech.

As you can imagine, this has been extremely difficult on Isaac, as just a few years ago he was as healthy as can be, living out his dreams by teaching English to students in China while pursuing his career as a sales representative. However, we want to share that despite everything, Isaac has been an absolute light and source of positivity and joy to those around him. Isaac has been a believer in God from a very young age, and for the past half year, Isaac has been attending our small group on Thursday nights! Isaac’s unwavering faith that he will be healed and be able to resume the activities he enjoyed doing on a daily basis has been a source of inspiration for everyone.

Isaac has spent the last couple of years undergoing various forms of treatment, including a stem-cell transplant treatment from Panama that actually gave Isaac the ability regain some mobility in his upper body before the condition took over again. Unfortunately, over the past couple years he was rejected from stem cell trials in Chicago and at UCSD. Thankfully, Isaac has been accepted for a stem cell treatment procedure run by a clinic in Las Vegas. The funds from this fundraiser would go towards a similar expensive stem-cell treatment from doctors at this clinic that have shown very promising results in the form of radical healing for patients with severe cases of Multiple Sclerosis.

We hope that with this funding for his stem-cell treatment, Isaac will be healed and can return to doing the things he loved to do before his physical condition deteriorated. Some of the activities he enjoyed the most were winter sports, playing music, and pursuing relationships across the world. His goals are to return to China, where he feels called to continue to teach English and pursue his career as a sales representative at a trading company.

Any donations towards his treatment are very much appreciated. Of course, if you are unable to donate, we believe prayer for Isaac is just as important and is just as appreciated!

Isaac and his Mother, Beulah, want to thank the many friends and family who have reached out over the past couple of years to support Isaac through this tough time. The outpouring of love and encouragement has been extremely touching and instrumental in supporting Isaac.

We’re rooting for ya Isaac!!!
