Isaac James- Support for those left behind
Donation protected
Isaac James, born on October 24th 2004, lost his life at the young age of 15 on the evening of November 15th 2019. Isaac was a loving caring kid had a curious mind and an adventurous soul. He was incredibly smart, athletic, and loved life and those around him with his whole self.
He lives with his single mother- my sister, who has had numerous difficulties through life including multiple brain surgeries. She is one of the strongest people I have ever encountered- and is now being challenged with something that a parent should never have to experience- the death of a child.
This tragic incident was an act of violence and is an ongoing investigation of homicide that happened right outside of his home. We do not have any answers at this time and the story is being covered on the local news.
I am asking for the support of the community. We are filing for victim support, which should help with some of the funeral expenses, but my sister is going to need financial support to give her time to grieve the loss of her child. Basic needs such as rent, car payment, and utilities are going to be a struggle for her during this time. I would hate for work on financial stress to be a concern for her during this difficult time.
This is an awful, unthinkable time for our family. He was so young, had so much spirit, and so much to give to the world. He was taken in violence, and took his last breath in his mothers arms. Prayers are appreciated. Please feel free to share your memories of Isaac in the comments. Thank you for your support.
