Isaac's Mission
Donation protected
When Isaac was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy at 13 months old we knew he would eventually lose his ability to walk. While we have been making preparations for this, we were not prepared that he would lose that ability so quickly. Over the Thanksgiving Holiday in 2018 Isaac took his last steps.
We have been blessed by a local family with a power wheelchair for Isaac. We have also acquired a residential elevator from another very generous family. Our home is a bi-level style home, and not currently ideal for accommodating a power wheelchair. Soon with the assistance of a close family friend, we will be starting modifications to our house. However, we also need to purchase a handicapped accessible vehicle.
This sudden need for extensive modifications to our home combined with the need for a handicapped accessible vehicle is an expense we could use assistance with. We have always tried to provide Isaac with the best quality of life, and help him keep as much independence as possible. Together we can be the Angels for Isaac!
