Help Isabel with fertility medical expenses

Isabel began having abdominal pain in March. She went to the ER and was diagnosed with a UTI. She came home at Easter and Velma knew something wasn't right. Then she had severe abdominal pain again, so we took her to the ER. The ultrasound and CT scan showed a large mass on her ovary. We were immediately sent to Vanderbilt to see a Gynelcological Oncologist.
She was told she wouldn't be going back to the University of Arkansas that semester.
A week later Isabel had surgery to remove her appendix, omentum, ovary, fallopian tube, lympnodes, and the giant 6 lb. tumor. We were told it was borderline mucinous. We were hopeful that after the pathology was complete it would get downgraded. Unfortunately, the final report came back as Mucinous Ovarian Cancer, A rare subtype of Ovarian Cancer that affects only 3% of women.
Because Isabel is young we had to consider preserving her fertility. Before she could start chemo she had to go through doing hormone shots and then surgery to retrieve the eggs for cryopreservation. This process was very costly and not covered by insurance. Thankfully, she was awarded 2 grants that covered a part of the cost, but we still have a balance of several thousand dollars.
Isabel is now back at school and doing pretty good. She desired to move on towards her goal of becoming an Occupational Therapist. She needed her community. This has all helped in her healing and keeps her busy. We are so proud of her tenacious spirit.
Although this cancer diagnosis was a surprise for Isabel and us, we know it didn't take God by surprise. Through this we have seen tangible expressions of His unconditional love and sensed His nearness. At just the perfect time God himself came near to Isabel through letters from strangers, a gift left on the doorstep from a neighbor, a care package from someone she hardly knows and from her aunts, a gift card for meals, and dinner on chemo days and a monetary gift from a friend. Do not underestimate the power of small efforts of kindness.
Several people have asked about or offered to set up a GFM for Isabel. We decided to set one up for those who would like to contribute towards the final portion of Isabel's medical procedures that were not covered by the grants. This is an opportunity for you to be an expression of God's goodness and mercy towards Isabel.
Thank you.
