Help Isabella and Josh after devastating accident.
Donation protected
Hi. My name is Kat. I’m Isabella’s mom. On 2/24/24 Bella and Josh were involved in a head on collision after hitting ice on a mountain road. Bell’s side of the car was run over by a big F250 pickup. She was pinned in the car and had to be cut out with the jaws of life. She was airlifted two hours away to Denver to a Level I trauma unit. Bella sustained substantial injuries including breaks to both legs, her right arm, arterial tear, liver, kidney, and adrenal lacerations. She has already undergone three surgeries and will need at least one more. She has been in ICU since the accident. She will likely spend at least two weeks at the trauma hospital and then need several months of inpatient rehab before she can go back home to months of outpatient rehab. They live two hours from the hospital and Josh has been making a four hour trip daily despite his own injuries to care for Bella’s beloved dog Chai. He will be out of work at least 2 weeks and Bella indefinitely but probably 6-12 months. During this time they still need to pay their rent, bills, and food. Gas driving back and forth has added up, rental car, and possibly now needed to get hotel once Bella is moved from ICU. This money will go towards helping them stay afloat while Bella is recovering. Any donations are greatly appreciated and will be such a blessing in this time.
