Isabella the Almighty Superstar
Where do I start?
My youngest daughter made a brilliant friend at pre school. This little friend, Isabella, always brings out the best in Molly and when Molly was too shy to sing in the Harvest Festival, it was Isabella telling her to sing louder!!
Isabella is soon going to have Brain surgery. The surgeons will be performing a Hemispherectomy ( which means disconnecting the right side of her brain from the left side )
This is a rare and highly complex brain surgery , but is necessary to control Isabella’s Epilepsy, which is currently uncontrollable. Classing her brain as unsafe.
Her family need help, to help raise money for Isabella . Firstly for private therapies she will need post surgery and secondly to give her things and experiences that will make her smile after her surgery. The cost of private therapy is around £90 per hour. This isn’t funded by anyone other than Isabella’a family. The NHS will provide therapy, post surgery, but this will be limited due to the financial restraint. Her fabulous family have enough to be thinking about, the worry of funding these essential therapies shouldn’t be for them to solve.
Isabella is a true warrior and deserves only the best and whatever will help her rehabilitation and recovery.
So, Isabella, I’ll give it my absolute all to complete 100km in the 31 days of October. I would run it 10 times over though if it helps
The challenge is 100km (for each of us) in 31 days either on the treadmill or on the road.
Isabella’s Dad, Sam, and a couple of my amazing friends are also taking part in the challenge.
Thank you for reading and please, please help us to reach the target by sharing and sponsoring. We’ve set ourselves a huge challenge, but I know that we’ll smash it!
