Isabelle's Surgery Fund

Hello Friends,

My name is Anna, and I am starting this campaign to help Evelyn and Tommy save their beloved Isabelle's health.

Izzy is a happy, playful girl, and the apple of her parents' eye. Yes, she is a four legged child, but as any pet parent knows - they are as close to us as human kids.

On November 10, 2021 Isabelle started dragging her rear right leg. Her vet said she needed to go to an emergency facility to get a proper diagnosis. She was taken to one of the best clinics in Austin - AVES, but by the evening her left rear leg was also paralyzed. After an MRI & a battery of tests it was determined she had 2 serious problems.

One was she had 2 badly compressed discs on her spine, and the other was that she had had a mini stroke down her spine - they couldn’t determine when that occurred. She would need back surgery to clean out the severe disc compressions. There were no guarantees she would ever walk again.

The surgeon was amazing & she was able to clean out most of the compressed disc debris. She was very optimistic after the surgery. It’s been just over 6 weeks & Isabelle is now starting to walk on all 4 legs. She is a very determined dog - Tom & Evelyn have been working tirelessly on her physical therapy & care of their baby. Lots of tears of sorrow & joy. They are so thankful to surgeon Dr. Tracy Sutton & the staff at AVES for their immense care & knowledge. The financial cost was high but for Isabelle, Tom & Evelyn it was worth every penny.

We all know the absolute heartbreak of a loved one falling sick, and no price is too high to save them. We also know how loving, generous, and helpful Evelyn and Tom have been to anyone who needed their support. Please help me raise the funds to unburden their veterinary bills.
