Help Me Climb Kili!

My name is Isabel Torres-Padin, but you can call me Isa, I am a college student, avid cross country runner and aspiring adventurer. Next June I will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro with Radiating Hope, a cancer-cure focused  organization in honor of people who have been affected by cancer (www.radiatinghope.org/). The prayer flags represent cancer patients, survivors, and those who were lost to cancer. So many people encounter people afflicted with cancer and witness their undying spirit and the flags are just a small symbol of that spirit. I will not only carry flags for people who have donated to the cause, but also for my Aunt, a beautifully spirited breast cancer survivor and my grandfather who fought melanoma. The personalized prayer flags will be hung by me from the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro once I reach the summit, as shown by the photo. The money raised will go directly to help me reach my goal of climbing Kili and understanding (for just a few days) true struggle like those who have cancer. This is a truly amazing cause that will change the lives of many in Tanzania as well as other countries who are in need of cancer centers. And support me in my quest to climb "Kili".
