Isaiah's fighting Leukemia

 Isaiah is an active 2-year-old. He loves running around and playing superheroes and battling with his dad and brother. Since he was able to, he’d love going for walks and playing outside, with so much love and sweetness in his heart. Everything he does is full speed ahead! So, when he started limping, we initially thought it was just standard growing pains or a result of how active he was. Then as the limping persisted to get worse, and he eventually stopped walking all together, we knew something was terribly wrong; so, we took him to a walk-in orthopedic clinic that day. We remain eternally grateful for the medical team that initially saw him and properly diagnosed Isaiah early on, and for his mother following her maternal intuition that something was wrong.

When the results from the blood test came back an hour later, our ENTIRE world was turned upside down. Mom received a call to RUSH back to the hospital, pack an overnight bag and that a doctor from Oncology would be meeting with her. Those words alone for an adult would be enough to make your heart sink to the floor, but for God, we would have been destroyed spiritually. On February 3rd, 2023, our youngest son was diagnosed with Leukemia.

Leukemia is a cancer that affects white blood cells in the body, turning them into weapons attacking Isaiah from the inside, replicating themselves, no different than zombies, just eating him from the inside out. These "zombie" white blood cells then crowd inside the bone marrow, which leaves no room for his healthy red blood cells and platelets, ultimately affecting his entire whole body.

This is where WE NEED YOUR HELP. We created this GoFundMe to help raise funds to directly cover medical costs for his care. Your assistance will help ensure our son has a fighting chance at life! I’ve shuttered my business and picked up additional hours with the post office; however, your aid will cover the expenses that exceed our insurance plan, like medical costs for treatments and therapies, medication, hospital stays, and any other medical needs that I’m too exhausted to think of.

Isaiah’s current treatment plan is 3.5 years long.
