Isaiah’s Story
Donation protected
Isaiah was born March 2016 and suffered an anoxic birth injury (lack of oxygen). At one years old his brain damage was confirmed, and he was diagnosed with severe spastic quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy. Two years later, the brain damage that occurred resulted in an additional diagnosis, Epilepsy. Isaiah is a determined, motivated, and happy little boy despite all the odds that are against him. He has been in traditional physical therapy, occupational, speech/feeding therapy and, more recently, MNRI therapy. We are now exploring options with alternative therapies that have been proven to help patients improve their quality of life. We are hopeful for any positive gains that may include improved vision, cognition, speech and over all physical strength.
Isaiah has been scheduled for his first stem cell therapy treatment January 26,2020 in Arizona. Typically, patients like Isaiah benefit greater from multiple stem cell treatments. This, along with other alternative therapies, we want to pursue. Some of these therapies are hyperbaric oxygen therapy, laser therapy, and enzyme injections, all of which are not covered by insurance. Next month’s cost of the stem cell procedure is $6500 plus travel expenses. Shawna, Isaiah’s mother, is his sole care provider and because of his therapy schedule and needs she is not able to work right now and has limited resources. We want to give Isaiah a chance to receive these therapies which is why we are seeking your help financially. We appreciate all contributions donated to our sweet boy for this and future procedures. If you are unable to donate currently please keep Isaiah’s health in your prayers and feel free to share this fundraiser.
“Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed. For I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”- Isaiah 41:10
