ISG- maternity group ❤️

I have been added to a maternity what’s app group for pregnant women and new mums who have been affected by ISG entering administration without any forewarning.

I myself am not pregnant, however all other members of the what’s app group were due to go on maternity leave or are currently on maternity leave and have now been left in a really horrible situation during a time which should be filled with love and happiness celebrating new life.

No new mum or mum to be should have to consider going back to work after just a few months because they are worried about covering their mortgages/ rent and other bills. I am sure you can all appreciate that they have lost a significant income overnight and statutory maternity pay doesn’t even come close to covering important bills for most, furthermore as they expected to receive a full salary for 9 months they were unable to prepare ahead for this situation.

A lot of them I am sure would hate to ask for help, however I would like to think we could raise some money for them during this difficult time, even if it helps them out just a little.

If you can spare any money, then I am sure they would be really grateful ❤️ as a mum myself, I cannot fathom the situation they have been left in through no fault of their own. So hopefully we can rally around them!

My plan is to split any funds raised equally between those who need the help.
