It is with heavy hearts that we are setting up this GoFundMe on behalf of our daughter and sister, Isha Windom, her unborn child Avion Lee Quinn, and her surviving 11 month old, Alvin Lee Quinn III.On December 11, 2018, our lives changed forever. While accompanying her husband, Alvin Lee Quinn ll, to retrieve their belongings in Round Lake, IL, Isha was critically wounded when she was shot in the head during a struggle for a gun between her husband and someone in the residence. Upon arrival at the hospital, an emergency c-section was performed and baby Avion did not survive.
Unfortunately, on December 15, 2018, we lost Isha to this senseless act of violence.
Isha was the most unselfish, caring, and considerate person you would ever want to meet. She loved being a mother and was anxiously looking forward to the birth of her second child, whom she had already named Avion. Isha loved working and helping others and she was loved by all who knew her. She will be dearly missed.
Because Isha was such a special soul, even in this tragic situation, Isha would have wanted to help others. So we, as a family, decided that the best way to honor her was to donate her organs to the Gift of Hope, in hope of saving someone elses life, as Isha would have wanted.
At this time, the family is asking for your support and contributions for medical bills, funeral expenses, and the continued care of Baby Alvin.
