Islamic Center of Mountain House

Mountain House is a small town about 50 miles (80 km) east of San Francisco and lies on the border of the San Joaquin Valley and San Francisco Bay area.

The Mountain House Muslim Association has been serving the local community since 2010, our mission being to:

* promote inter-faith and intra-faith harmony through regular activities that bring people together;

* provide a healthy environment for our youth through sports, education, and other entertaining activities;

* Build a strong bond and give them a true sense of belonging.

As the Muslim community has grown from just a few families to over 500 families, there is an urgent need to establish a Masjid and community center, and we believe we have found the perfect building to serve our needs. 

We are acquiring a six-acre lot to establish a Masjid and grow a full-time Islamic school to serve the needs of Muslim residents and make Mountain House an attractive destination for Muslim families.

* Ladies' activity programs

* Private community gym 

Building a mosque is a Sadaqah-e-Jariah, a charitable deed that outlives us.
