Island Community: Aid Jessica Briggs in Grief

It’s with great sadness that I share that Bubba Ray passed unexpectedly yesterday, August 21st. For those who knew Bubba, he was a gentle and simple man. He is leaving behind his family & kids Makayla Ray, Sheya Welty, Atreyu Welty, and his loving life partner Jessica Briggs. This loss brings a huge financial burden to Jessica to manage their monthly expenses on now a single income. She will be focusing on her grief and taking time from work to do so.

Both the Friday Harbor and Orcas Island communities have been home to Bubba & Jessica their whole life. Island community please share what you can to help this family during this difficult time. Please be sensitive in giving them privacy to grieve would be so appreciated.
