Island Gal goes for Gold

My name is Bobbi-Jean Charlton and many of you in the Bowling community know who I am. I am reaching out for your financial support in off-setting the costs of playing in the Canadian Women’s Singles Championship at HERITAGE GREENS LBC in Kitchener Ontario from AUGUST 26-30. I am attempting to cover as much of the expenses which include transportation, airfare, and hotel.

This year I have captured Gold in Provincial Indoor Singles, Silver in Provincial 4's and most recently a Silver Medal at the Provincial Singles Championships played at New Westminster LBC. I have now been invited to represent B.C. and compete at the National Championships. I feel so honoured to have the opportunity to, not only represent my Province, but most of all, to represent the Island and the amazing community of Bowlers.

However, with that being said, B.C. Bowls only financially supports the Gold Medalist and so it is my responsibility to raise the necessary funds to attend and compete in this wonderful event. I am asking BSI bowlers and clubs for support in my endeavor to continue on this journey toward Gold.
