Israel Mićhel Smith Homegoing

Israel (Izzy as family and friends knew him) Mićhel Smith, 11 was a respectful, polite, yet funny, goofy kid who was intelligent beyond his years. He had ambitions to become an architect and open shelters for abused children and a self-sustainable farm to support those in need. Israel loved playing video games, riding his skateboard, boxing, and going to the beach. He was also fan of anything anime. Israel admired and emulated his big brother, Ray; he was protective over his cousin Brielle and loved to stay at his aunt Brianne “Titi’s” house, where he loved her barbecue meatballs.

 

On Thursday, April 21 2022, Izzy took his own life due to having endured an entire school year of constant bullying. Through endless emails and phone calls, I was able to get him transferred to another school where the bullying continued. He was unable to cope with the stresses associated with bullying and decided to take his life leaving us with a void that can never be filled. I was so honored to have been his Mama. Words cannot describe the great loss we're dealing with.

 

To know and love Israel was a privilege. He put up a great fight when it came to the bullying but sadly, in the end, the torment won.

 

Due to this unexpected loss, we are asking for help to take of funeral expenses.

Izzy’s Mom and family would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and support they have received for everyone. However, Izzy’s mom has made the difficult choice that she can no longer live in the home that her and Izzy shared. She needs support to both relocate and have their existing home professionally cleaned. Again thank you all for all of your past and future support.
