Israeli Archaeological Dig

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Casey.  I am a college student studying to be a teacher in Early Childhood Education.  I am hoping to start my bachelor's degree this coming fall.

Last year in 2017, I had the opportunity to do volunteer work in Israel.  I worked with other volunteers from around the world who participated in an archeological dig at the biblical city of Shiloh.  This is where the Israelites placed the Tabernacle and Ark of the Covenant for more than 350 years.  The dig was very exciting, but also the scenery was breathtaking, the vast amount of history was incredible, and walking through the city of Jerusalem was surreal.  For me the Bible was brought to life before my eyes.

June of this year, 2018, I have another opportunity to return to Israel while bringing my younger sister Autumn as well.  Autumn is also attending college full time.  She will be finishing her first full year at the end of May.  She is very excited to be a part of this amazing work that is going to happen and to have the chance to see and experience what I did.  As stated before, this is a volunteer archeological dig.  It will be once again at Shiloh.  Each day begins with breakfast at 4:00 A.M. and then the 5:00 A.M. bus ride from the hotel to the dig site (Shiloh).

This archaeological dig will be conducted/hosted by the Associates for Biblical Research (ABR going forward). ABR has prior digs in Israel including the biblical city of Ai (Joshua).  Please see the links to ABR.

Any funds raised will go towards the cost of this two-week trip including: hotels, food, various fees, air fare, travel expenses, etc.

Autumn and I really appreciate any help offered.  If you cannot give financially at this time, we would ask you to please pray for us.  Pray the funds will be raised in time, safety for travels and during the dig, that fruit will be seen from a successful dig and that we would have the opportunity to share our faith.  The experience was life changing for me and I know it will be for my sister as well.

Please Note:
We already have an anonymous donor!  For every $1 given, it will be matched by $1.  Therefore, if we raise $200 then that will become $400 with the donor.  If we raise $1,000 then that will become $2,000.  The donor’s gift is maxed at $1,000.
