Hello Friends,

The Middle East is in conflict and there is something we can do to give the citizens a reason to smile... send them a bit of magic!

In times of crisis, a smile can change a life - and Project Smile is sending smiles across the region. This fundraiser is hiring (local Israeli) magicians to entertain the public via free shows.

These performers have been out of work since the start of the war so we're putting them to work! This fundraiser is the snowball effect in action. The out of work magicians get a lifeline of income and then entertain the public, giving more people a reason to smile with a brief moment of magic and laughter.

This fundraiser is not a political statement on the war or the government... it's a simple way to help those who need it!

I am working with the Israeli Magic Club to book these performers. If you know anyone in Israel who would like a show or can perform one please reach out! We want to share the love with everyone we can!

The importance of entertainment for those experiencing trauma is vital and well-documented. I fondly remember my experience in 2006, when I brought laughter to a group of special forces soldiers who were caught behind enemy lines in Lebanon. They had just returned to their base and hadn’t processed what had happened. Most were still in shock over their experience and not one of them had smiled or laughed since their return. The tricks I performed brought smiles, laughter, and literal tears of joy to this incredible group of men and women, giving them a chance to finally release the tension and pain they had endured.
