ISSTA (International School of Science Technology and the Arts) is an international, residential, 9-12 grade multilingual, university-preparatory American high-school, fitness complex, and arts centre located in Greater Orlando, Florida.
ISSTA is a unique project in a number ways. A few examples include; 1) an entirely green and energy efficient campus from the ground-up, 2) a suite of proprietary technologies making ISSTA the most technologically advanced school in the nation, 3) a rigorous academic offering of Advanced Placement/International Baccaulaurate/ Cambridge/and Dual enrollment courses focused on health-care and the performing arts, 4) a myriad of student services non-existent at any high school around the world.
Friends, ISSTA has become my life legacy given the abundant opportunities that still remain to make high-school education so much better. What do I mean? To put it bluntly, we can teach better, learn more, dwell in cleaner and safer environments, advance equality and diversity, and provide more choices to our students with ONE goal in mind: to afford ALL our students the type of opportunities they seek to pursue higher education around the world.
