It is all in God's Hands

My son and I have been struggling for the last two years with keeping our required monthly bills paid, due to my numerous illnesses, surgeries, treatments, procedures and medications. 

I have been diagnosed with Sjogren's Syndrome; Idiopathic Avascular Necrosis (a rare form that has developed in numerous bones; I have had 3 hip replacement surgeries on the same hip); knee issue (I need a replacement, but there is not enough viable bone to do the replacement, 2 specialists tell me they cannot help me); heart disease (I have had 1 stent put in and another needs to be put in); possible MS or LUPUS (they cannot decide which it is and I have given up going from dr. to dr. to find out); degenerative disc disease (all of my lumbar discs are bulging, herniated or ruptured).  I have been told by 3 specialists that I need to be at a MAYO type or teaching hospital so they can put all the pieces together and figure out what is really going on, but I certainly do not foresee ever having the funds to do that.

During the last 2 years, my income was initially cut by nearly 40%, then raised back up 20%, then I was cut back to 4 days a week, so back down 20%.  My income has gone down each year for the last 6 years.  I have been at the same job, with the same employer for 17 years.  I am in a very specialized job and while I could possibly find another job, it would require me to move.  I would have to leave my family, my only grandchild and my two children and move to a larger city.  I would also lose my insurance and with the illnesses I have it would be considered preexisting and would have to wait a year for coverage.

With all of that said, I have never been in a better mental/emotional place.  Two years ago my son asked if we could start reading the Bible together and praying every day.  We began and that is when God began doing miraculous things in both of our lives.  He has been molding us into what He wants us to be.  He has helped us for two years to cut back everything unnecessary out of our lives.  We have been living very, very frugally.  Even with that, we have gone through all of our savings and sold everything we could, just to keep the house and car.  We have hit the end of our rope and I did not know where else to turn.  We have been searching for two years to find a church family and have been unsuccessful in finding a church that preaches Grace and that salvation is by Grace alone, through Faith alone, in Christ alone...with no works involved or needed.  Therefore, we have considered the online Grace community our 'church'. 

The Holy Spirit put it on my heart to reach out for prayers today because it has been really rough (found out some disheartening news at work, possible further cuts coming...).  Plus, my bank has informed me that although they have been very patient and allowing me to make partial payments, they can no longer continue to do that.  I am a little more than 3 months behind on my mortgage and now in foreclosure.  The foreclosure process takes about 45 days to complete, so there I am. 

After I asked for prayers, someone suggested setting up this gofundme page and I decided maybe it is time to do this and see if it is God's Will to help us in this manner, since we don't have a church family to ask assistance from.  If not, we know He will help us in some other way.  If you do not feel led to assist, you will not hurt my feelings, I believe it has to be something you feel led to do.
