It is time to say goodbye to Mom

Hi, My name is Kristine and my parents need some help. They have given so much to neighbors, friends family and any cat or dog that needs a home. The animals in their home are very spoiled as they should be. Mom has helped many people when she had her practice as a therapist then became a pet sitter wherever she was needed. The worse of it started 2 and a half years ago when Mom had her Gallbladder out. Should have been routine but was not. She suffered a heart attack after surgery and a fractured vertebrae in her back. She was doing well with recovery but then fracture a few more vertebrae over the year. Mom was diagnosed with Osteoporosis and was going through pain management. She was walking with a cane in October 2022, when she was in the yard and stepped wrong. She fractured another vertebra. Mom was now walking with a walker. I came to visit in May of this year and Mom was in severe pain and no longer able to stand from a sitting position or walk without the assistance of a walker. One month later to now current. Mom was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma which caused several fractures throughout her body from the cancer. The doctor said 6 to 12 months on Thursday 06/15. She has not woken much today and her body is shutting down, her kidneys are shutting down. This is too soon for someone as healthy as she was. My parents have a second mortgage that needs to be paid, medical bills that weren't covered, and a car loan amongst other things. Just hoping to lift this burden. Thank you for listening, don't be sad but celebrate this amazing woman who is fierce, fights argues and does not back down when she believes in something. I will cherish her forever!
