We are a Special Assistance School (SAS) working with students who are disengaged from mainstream education for any number of reasons.
We provide nutritious lunches free of charge for the students to assist them in their concentration and overall well-being.
The staff and students eat together and it would be nice to have some of these sturdy picnic tables to be able to sit at. We just use old plastuc and metal chairs at the moment without tables. We like that they can be bolted down and mounted so that they are not knocked about.
We would be able to build these tables ourselves in our metal shed, and some of the students with metalworking skills could assist with the project. The money raised would pay for the materials required.
All the BYLC staff and students would be super thankful for this fundraiser to be a success, as it would allow us to be eating together with tables and not just balancing plates on our knees... :-)
