It Takes a Village: Help the Wyman's Rebuild
Donation protected
I am a lifelong friend of the Wyman’s, and have spent countless hours of my youth eating macaroni & cheese in the warmth of their kitchen, and endless summer days splashing in their pool.
On Saturday, November 11th, the unimaginable happened. Their home was completely destroyed by fire. While Bob suffered second-degree burns trying to go back into the house to save the family’s beloved cats, he was able to escape otherwise unharmed. Pat received a call while at the supermarket, to hear her home of 47 years was gone.
Pat and Bob are currently staying with their daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren, while they work together to process such a devastating loss.
Please share this link with friends and family members who may be willing to assist. I know so many people want to help in small ways, and contributing to this fund raiser will allow the family to put the money to work in the ways that are most impactful without being overwhelmed.
Thank you in advance as we work to show the Wyman’s that they are not alone in this difficult challenge.
Note: As a veteran who served, Bob would also like to give a special thanks to all of the first responders who came on the scene that day to assist. The firefighters who risked their lives and the EMS crew who took him to the hospital. The Wyman family thanks you for all that you do.
