Liz's Cancer Treatment
Donation protected
Liz rescued me many years ago when I found her at a junk yard. I would often walk by the junk yard and would pet the dogs that lived there. One day I saw this adorable puppy and the owner picked her up and said "want her?" I was a homeless teen at the time, but after finding out that the owner would beat the dogs, I took her away from there instantly. She was my constant companion through those rough times and she always knew that she could trust me to keep her warm, safe and fed. I found a job, worked hard and got myself off of the streets with Liz by my side. She has been with me through all of it and now she needs help.
Liz was diagnosed with Cushings disease and during her MRI we discovered that it is being caused by a brain tumor pushing on her petuitary gland. The MRI also found a cancerous tumor in her neck. Both tumors are small enough that there is a very good chance for sucessful treatment. The tumor in her neck needs surgery to be removed and both need radiation, but our vet is very hopeful. We just need the funds for these treatments.
Liz was diagnosed by Summit Veterinary Referral Center in Tacoma Washington and by Seattle Veterinary Specialists. She is being refered to the oncology department of Washington State University. Records are available if anyone would like to see them.
Any amount that you can afford will help her. Please share this with your friends.
