It's hots and rescue horses need your help!

Hello I am Diane and I volunteer at Freedom Hill Horse rescue in Owings Maryland.

Its been a hot summer and keeping our horses healthy is always tough. But the heat this year is off the charts.

Because we are a non profit we dont always have fund for things we need all the time.

And this year we need fans in our run to try and keep our horses more comfortable in this heat.

Since we do not have electric out in the pastures we can't use regular fans in the run ins.

We have researched solar fans and believe this would help keep the horses safe and comfortable. The cost is $250.00 per fan unit and we have three run ins that need fans. Also putting the solar fans in the three run ins would not add any expenses to our electric bill...which is a big deal to a non profit.
