Time for a running jump...?
Donation protected
(Well, maybe not ‘running’ as I don’t find that as easy as it used to be - and ‘fall’ might be more accurate than ‘jump’).
So, after 63 years flying as a pilot and now entering my ninth decade (ouch!) it strikes me that it is high time I let others take the strain while I just admire the scenery – and what better way to do so than to take a …… parachute jump?
Fortunately, my friends at the Cornish Parachute Club based at Perranporth Airfield can provide the necessary and so I plan to leap into the air with them once the weather gets warmer - sometime in May!
As I did with my wing-walk a few years ago, I plan to use the occasion to raise money for two charities close to my heart and this time it will be for... Cornwall Air Ambulance & ShelterBox (originally established in Cornwall)!
Please donate to help both these charities and their most-worthy causes.
