Itty Bitty Farms kitchen and storefront fundraiser
Donation protected
Hello!
We are the Knowles family. Our Itty Bitty Farm specializes in microgreens, salad greens, herbs, and other veggies. We grow locally and organically in Blaine county. Many of you know our family and have been following our exciting journey this year. Over the past 12 months we have expanded our products, joined the Wood River Farmers Market, obtained additional growing space, and have been working hard to bring more fresh local food to Carey and the Wood River Valley. We have also been very fortunate in working with some close friends to build a large commercial greenhouse on their property, which we will lease from them this year. The commercial space that we have been working on includes a beautiful storefront building which we are planning on opening to the community as a small store, gathering place and commercial kitchen. Ever since the grocery store in Carey closed a few years ago, our small town has been lacking a supply of fresh foods. We want to be able to provide the basics to the good people of Carey, ID.
And that's where you can help!
We are accepting donations to help fund the initial expenses of opening a store, kitchen, and work space at our Carey greenhouse location. Funds will go to building/purchasing the necessary structures and units for display, refrigeration, and storage as well as initial inventory costs when applicable.
We hope to have the store up and running within a few months and could use all the help and support that our community can provide.
We have already been so overwhelmed by the outpouring of support and encouragement from our friends, neighbors, and loyal customers. Thank you for believing in our dreams and helping to bring local food to Carey and to the Wood River Valley.
Please contact me with questions about the project or the progress we have been making by visiting our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/our.ittybitty.farm
Also, include your name or other info with your contribution and we will be sure to send you a token of our appreciation!
