IUPUI Motorsports Club Goes to PGP

What is the purpose of the Motorsports club?

To promote team building and learning through Motorsports. Allowing students to apply what they've learned in courses at IUPUI in a friendly but competitive environment. We also give the same opportunity for students outside of Motorsports majors to learn and apply themselves on our team.

What interesting aspects are there?

We prepare throughout the year for the Purdue Grand Prix, holding ourselves up to the expectations of a functioning race team. We also do volunteering events at IMS to allow our team members an up-close experience they may not normally get. A good number of members of our team have used the experience as leverage in applying for internships and jobs in Motorsports.

For our teams to succeed, we must fundraise money for our club. The money raised is used to fund our three teams in the races we compete in, such as the Purdue Grand Prix and Whiteland races in the fall. It also purchases parts for our three go-karts, to maintain and improve them each season.

The Motorsports Club appreciates any and all donations. We could not continue succeeding without the support of our community.
