Ivan Alonso

Ivan Alonso was an extraordinary man. He knew how to be a wonderful husband, father and friend. He was very popular due to his outgoing, optimistic, and non-bias outlook. He was an artist in making people see their worth and helped everyone without expecting a "thank you", but his gift was in making you have a smile even when you felt no reason to. To describe Ivan, he exibited Mr. Rogers kindness, gentleness and compassion with Robin Williams's wit and comic timing. He received a kidney and liver transplant while still in his 40s, and proved you can still love life through its ups and downs. He loves god in heaven, Maribel and his daughters on earth. (He also loves the NY Yankees, NY Giants and movies). His love and life partner, his wife Maribel, met in 2007. A true love story, he would say she was his angel "Bella". His daughters Letizia and Anna boasted on how he was a wonderful father and role model. Their love for their father is a tribute to his name. No words can explain the loss of this gracious soul. I could have written a book about Ivan!
