Dr. Ivanova's Memorial

It is with great sorrow that we share the news of Dr. Elena Ivanova passing away March 29th. She was a very kind, happy, honest, and humble woman with an open heart. She made it her duty to make sure students felt comfortable with class material that at many points seemed incomprehensible. It was an honor to be able to celebrate your 40th birthday this year in class, and you will be very much missed by the Marquette community.

The Marquette community hopes to establish a fund in Dr. Ivanova’s name that will benefit students in the Chemistry Department. Your gift will help us reach our first milestone of $10,000 to establish the fund. Our ultimate goal is $50,000 which would create an endowed scholarship in Dr. Ivanova’s name.
