Isla Vista Community Bike Center

Phillip started the IVCBC three years ago when he realized that the Santa Barbara area has a massive problem with waste, and a massive problem with bike theft. He collects junked, abandoned, and old bikes, which he then parts out for the purpose of building refurbished bikes. These bikes are then either donated to children and victims of bike theft, or sold back to the community in good working condition at a reasonable cost. Phillip is seeking donations to keep the IVCBC alive and thriving in the face of soaring rental prices and permitting fees.
