- We are raising the money needed to finish this amazing short film and it is important to our family and basketball fans because it is about my uncle's life and career in sports.
- My name is Karen Criswell Reese and I am the niece of Coach Murray. I was born and raised in a small town called Morrilton and to see someone on tv or to see someone be recognized for their accomplishment was few. So when my uncle was nominated to be in the Arkansas Hall of Fame as a player for basketball, I became so excited to do this documentary. Not just because it was my uncle, but because of the pandemic, I saw how important it was too create a legacy video for family members to be able to enjoy in the future. With your help, I will be able to finish this project and continue doing projects of bringing some amazing stories to the light. The power of sharing your story. We all have a story and people are waiting to hear it from us.
- We are raising $5,000 for post production. We need color corrections, editing, sound editing, marketing and to produce a community premiere night in Morrilton.
- This project is valuable because it brings a story about my uncle to all those people that love basketball and also those that might have seen him play in high school, college and now as a head high school coach for over 30 year and wondered what happened to him. Through this documentary, you can now see his journey.
- I produced a sports mom’s talk show called “Can We Talk Sports” 2 years ago. I love producing television and films that focus on sports and building communities in Arkansas and Texas. I have been producing for the past 4 years and love to promote basketball, football and all sports.
- The impact of the pandemic inspired me to create a legacy video for family members to be able to enjoy in the future. With your help, I will be able to finish this project and continue doing projects of bringing some amazing stories to the light, through the power of sharing stories of community unsung heroes.
- I love bringing stories to the light. This project is really close to my heart. I grew up as a great fan of my Uncle’s playing and later coaching, and I am determined - and thrilled - to bring his story to a wider audience.
