I've Got This! But Need a Little Help.

Hi, my name is Laura Ward. I've had a roller-coaster of a year medically. I went in to have a routine out-patient surgery. A week later, still in pain and feeling bad, go to see my doctor. She informs me they found cancer . I had to schedule an appointment with a cancer doctor, who specializes in female parts. There were none in my area, so I had to travel about 2 hours from home. Get to the appointment and still in a lot of pain. Doctor examines me and says I need to go straight to the ER in a town 3 hours away from home. Get there and they admit me very quickly. I ended up having an infection that required a drain to be surgically put in. Then 4 days later I had to have a full hysterectomy, appendectomy and biopsies of the surrounding areas. So, from an outpatient surgery to a long hospital stay surgery, I had to resign from my job at school and go on unpaid leave from my 2nd job. I am going through chemo. I have finished 3 sessions and have 3 more to go.
I haven't been able to work since March 17th. At first I still had a few pay checks coming in and a little savings, but then I had to ask my mom for help until I could get assistance. The assistance was denied because both jobs are only technically part-time. I won't go back to work until August 10th and my first pay check will be August 31st.
I hate asking for help, but I need some help to get me through until I start getting paid and back to work.
My friends and family have kept me fed and in good spirits. I appreciate all they have done so far for me. I love them all!
Thank you,
Laura
