Hi, my name is Diamond and I am a shining little gem. I was born in a heated shed with my mama and siblings. It was not very nice and the old man who had been feeding my mom for a long time wanted desperately to find a good place for us to grow up. He drove two hours to get to Pet Patrol to make sure we would be OK. I am known as a real go-getter and an active little girl and when I was finally adopted into a family, I didn’t slow down one bit. Only a few weeks in my new owner called Pet Patrol very upset and very concerned about me. Understandably. I had broken my leg. Not being used to a house and being a kitten and kind of dumb, I jumped off of something super-duper high and fractured my back leg. My owner wasn’t coping well and didn’t know what to do with me, so I was relinquished back to Pet Patrol right after he dropped me off at the vet. So here I am. Waiting to know if I need surgery or can my bones be set and cast. The cost is high. The time for healing is very involved, and I will not be able to come out of a big cage for at least 4 to 5 weeks. But I’m willing to do it because I know I will get a lot of attention and will get better. Would you be able to help me to be able to have whatever vet care is needed, and to take the burden off Pet Patrol financially. I am a good girl, I just don’t have much depth perception, I guess.
