Ivee's fight against FIP
Donation protected
Ivee was part of a TNR (trap neuter return) colony that my friend had been working on in her neighborhood for a few months. Several of the cats were able to be socialized and rehomed, while others she would release after being vetted. I had seen all the kitties up to this day, but when I peeked into the trap on this particular day, I laid eyes on the most adorable blue-eyed kitten I had ever seen and I knew right then and there, that she was coming home with me!
Fast forward to a few weeks ago. I noticed Ivee hadn’t been feeling well, but I wasn't quite sure what was going on. I took her to several vets and had bloodwork and ultrasounds done which set me back $1200. I could just look into her eyes and tell that she was absolutely miserable.
After all the tests were complete, it was determined that Ivee has FIP (likely dry/neuro FIP) due to the enlarged pupils and other indicative signs. Thank goodness I know enough about FIP to know that it doesn't have to be a death sentence anymore. One of my friends put me in touch with FIP Warriors 5.0. and within a few hours, I was able to get my hands on medication so she could begin her healing journey immediately. I truly need help as this has already been a financial hardship just getting to this diagnosis. I really, really appreciate any assistance. Any amount is appreciated, Ivee and I sincerely thank you for your consideration!
