Infertility IVF treatment and surgical procedure

Hey everyone, thank you for taking the time to read this. Myself and Lauren are asking for a little help in trying to start our journey with bringing a little bundle of joy into this world. As most of you know and for those who do not, Steven was diagnosed with colorectal cancer in 2017 (Now in remission) and within his treatment he had a surgery to remove his tumor, which in the process also removed his seminal vesicle. Without a seminal vesicle he now no longer has the natural ability to conceive a baby. We now need to have a procedure to remove the semen from Steven and IVF preformed for Lauren. Lauren and I recently tied the knot in November of 2022 and instead of a glamorous wedding we decided to head to the court house for a small intimate ceremony and went without a honeymoon to save everything we had to put towards fulfilling our dreams of starting a family. This journey is not easy and very overwhelming to say the least, so we ask for the help of friends, family, friends of friends and anyone who would be so generous to help. As of right now we are undergoing all the blood work to start the ivf process with Rad Fertility at Christiana hospital. It’s projected to cost around $2500 for the semen extraction, another $3000 for all the blood work, $5000 for Lauren’s fertility medication, and another $5000 for the embryo transfer. We are doing all of this without insurance as fertility isn’t covered with our insurance.
