Ivory Coast, West Africa Mission Trip

Friends, hi! I have the opportunity to travel across the world to the Ivory Coast in West Africa to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. Through prayer and conversations with my life group, the Lord has given me such a heart of the nations. I believe that all people are made in the image of God (Genesis 1:26-27), and God sent His son Jesus into the world to save all people from their sin (2 Corinthians 5:15). Growing up in church, I cannot fathom not knowing that God loves me, that Jesus died on the cross for me and that He is my hope forever. Traveling to the Ivory Coast will give me a chance to share how Jesus changed my life with people who have never heard His name.
In preparation for my trip, I ask that you'd pray for my team and me. Specifically, please pray:
- That the Spirit would dwell within us, that we would be filled with His word, and we would speak the truth of the Gospel.
- For boldness to share our faith but at home and aboard, let us not be ashamed of what Christ has done in our lives!
- That the words we teach to the Koro people in the Ivory Coast would fall on good soil. Meaning, their hearts would be receptive of the Gospel and it would take root, changing their lives forever.
- Pray for protection and favor with the local people.
- Would you pray that I would see more of God? That my heart would be like His heart.
- Lastly, I ask that you pray for the Lord to supply monetary funds for my team and I.
Before you give, please pray. Everything we have is from Him (Deuteronomy 8:18). If you are able, I would greatly appreciate your donation to this trip.
Romans 10:14-15 says "How can they call on Him to save them unless they believe in Him? And how can they believe in Him if they have never heard about Him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the scriptures say "How beautiful are the feet of the messengers who bring the Good News!".
