My name is Bre’ionya Irvin, and I’m a rising senior at George Washington Carver High School. Currently, I’m at the top of my class with a 4.0 GPA. I am a member of the volleyball, basketball, and softball teams. I’m also a member of the drama club. In the fall of 2020, I’ll be a first-generation college student.
Recently, I have been presented with the opportunity of a lifetime; I was accepted into Summer @ Brown. This is a pre-college program that will help me become more prepared for college and will help me learn more about life at college. Also, it will challenge me because I will attend classes with other motivated students.
Finally, attending this summer program at Brown University will help me set an example for my younger siblings and to show them that anything is possible.
In order to attend this program, I need to raise money for the tuition and travel expenses. Please consider donating in order to make this experience possible for me.
