I want to be a mom (IVF Goal)
Donation protected
My name is Kelsey Robinson and today (May 10th) is the day we celebrate all the amazing women in our lives. To be thankful for the mothers and mother figures who have loved, taught, and cared for us. It is also a day that I have fearfully been waiting for. Seeing all the Mother’s day cards, gifts, and sweet pictures makes me happy for others, but also tearful and wondering what God’s plan is for me?
This year we found out that our only chances of having children on our own is through IVF. I understand that there are many options other than IVF (fostering or adopting), but for right now, IVF is where our hearts are leaning towards. In order to be operated on I will need to lose 80lbs! This will put me in the BMI range that is healthy for my height and also where my doctor wants me at before any surgery.
So today is day 1 of my journey. I am giving myself a goal of one year to: Lose the 80lbs, raise $25,000 for IVF, obtain my Masters degree in counseling, and read through the whole Bible. Lots of goals, but all worth striving for.
I would appreciate your support and prayers throughout this journey. Please feel free to stay updated each Sunday on my progress at:

I have to make some changes in my life, and that is what all this is for. To help me stay accountable, to help me see progress, to help me not be alone in my struggles. There isn’t a day that goes by that something triggers the longing to be a mom. I want to be a mom, but I also want to be what God has called for me to be.
I can’t wait to see all that gets accomplished this year. Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengths me.” Lord strengthen me this year.
