I Will Walk Campaign
Arthur's goal is aquire a ReWalk robotic Exoskeleton. This campaign evolved through serendipitous moments of genuine admiration of the trials and determination of Arthur Renowitzky. For seven years now, Arthur has been determined to overcome a life changing spinal cord injury that paralyzed him from the chest down after graduating high school. It is a dream for him to live removed from his chair with both feet on the ground; an ambitious yet attainable goal for the motivational speaker and founder of the Life Goes On Foundation.
Eugene was first inspired by acts of kindness; Arthur by love and determination. Both inclined to do amazing things within their community they have partnered together to begin a campaign to help make Arthur’s dream of walking again come true while spreading awareness of Spinal Cord Injuries. The two met in November of 2014, and developed a goal to help them both walk down their prospective life paths resolute and with an optimistic spirit. However, they each desire something from you; your support, be it a whisper or a shout.
Throughout this endeavor Eugene and Arthur intend to broaden your perspective through sharing their life experiences. Eugene will traverse the Pacific Crest Trail with the goal of completing 1,726 miles; sharing his struggles and accomplishments along the way. Arthur will continue to face adversity head on with a calm and generous spirit; Arthur’s consistent goal of walking again, can be reached with your help.
This is where you come in. The ReWalk robotic Exoskeleton is a groundbreaking system that would enable Arthur to stand, turn, and ultimately walk. The ReWalk costs $70,000 and an additional $10,000 for training. How would you quantify your mobility?
