Iwo Jima Veterans Return
Tax deductible
Many of our Greatest Generation IWO JIMA VETERANS long to return to the site of that terrible and iconic battle of March 1945 that helped shape the outcome of the war in the Pacific. Many feel the need to return to put some closure to a most significant point in their lives others can never understand, but hope that perhaps some family members may get some insight.
The Iwo Jima of Association of America (IJAA) is the sole organization permitted to visit that battle site once a year for a period of eight hours. To that end, lJAA hosts our Greatest Generation Warriors and their family members every March near the anniversary date of that fierce battle. These veterans’ annual trip is made possible solely through donations to IJAA’s Non-Profit 501 C 3 Public Charity (IRS ID # 80-0255086). Given their age, many expect the coming year may be their last opportunity to revisit the island and pay their respects to their fallen comrades. Please help us make their desire come true by donating to the Iwo Jima Association of America.
