As far back as I can remember Iya Akua Ishangi and the entire Ishangi Family have been synonymous with what life looks like when you live and breathe African culture intentionally.
We are so excited to share that she is in the final stages of packing her bags and in a few shorts weeks will be boarding a plane to REPATRIATE TO THE MOTHERLAND!!!
May 2021 is the beginning of this leg of the journey... After 40 years of planning and working towards fully relocating to the Gambia West Africa Iya is realizing the vision of returning to the shores of Africa with the intention of contining to build upon the foundation of Ishangi Kunda, laid by Baba Kwame Ishangi.
Iya said....."What I envision for Ishangi Kunda is huge. Having monetary assistance would greatly strengthen the vision to becoming reality."
