J. Jollie Music Album

Donation protected
For years, it’s been a dream of mine to record an album, but doubts and insecurities have always held me back. That being said, I’ve kept writing and playing and trusting God that it would happen in Gods timing.

At the end of 2021 I felt like the timing was right. The right relationships had fallen in to place with songwriting partners, musicians, sound engineers, etc… Again, there were roadblocks, doubts, feelings that it was too late or I wasn’t good enough. Yet the songs kept coming.

I was asked by someone why I wanted to do this. Simply put: I want to leave a legacy that continues after I’m dead.

That thought has been the fuel to keep me moving forward with this project, and has been the inspiration for the specific songs I’ve chosen to put on the album. 20 years of songwriting, collaboration, team building, learning and relearning how to and what it means to be a musician and a child of God. From marriage, ministry, raising children; depression, anxiety, ADHD; feeling a call that I have been too small to fulfill, yet being blessed beyond belief by a all-pursuing Savior. I want this album to convey the journey of building and leaving a legacy.

I’ve started the process with a wonderful and talented young engineer and producer, but I will need financial support. I am asking, as you feel lead, to please donate to this project.

Arts Found in the Effort
When I spoke the words
I’ll live like a son
I’ll run like I’m free
I’ll run like I’ve won

My hands will get calloused
My feet will get worn
But arts found in the effort
Love’s won in the war
