J Wagner attacked by dog at gig

Hello, my name is Lance I'm starting a fundraiser for my brother Johann Wagner.

Raising funds to help him cover medical costs (Rabies treatment). He was attacked by a dog while setting up at a gig.

Below are the details copied from his Facebook post.

"I got randomly attacked by a dog while setting up for an outside gig in Dripping Springs. The dog just jumped out of nowhere and started holding onto my upper leg with his teeth. I didn’t even know what was happening until I noticed an insane pain and then saw a medium size dog latched on to me. The owner came up to me and said “ you must have been hanging around a cat before you got here “ and then pulled his unleashed dog away and disappeared before I could get his contact info and rabies vax status on the dog. I went to the med clinic and the dr immediately sent me to the hospital. The leg was getting worse and looking extremely nasty. The Dr. Informed me that if the dog had rabies I would die if I don’t get the rabies treatment immediately. I spent the night in the hospital getting shots. They give you these Hemoglobin shots right along the bites. So the already inflamed torn-up leg received shots right in the bites. It was beyond painful …beyond. I have to go back every two days for the next two weeks to receive more shots. No one at the venue knew who the dog owners were. If your dog bites someone please give the person all your info and the vaccine status of the dog right away …animal bites are extremely dangerous …and no matter how cool you think it looks please keep your dogs on a leash at all times in public. Rabies treatment costs an insane amount of money. I’m not sure if this is going to cost me 25k or if the insurance is going to cover “‘some of it “ and have me pay 7k because of my deductible. Very horrible experience and extremely expensive. Ok, my public service announcement is over with."
