Janine Carters Malawi Hospital fund

To who ever is reading this I hope you are happy and well.
I have set up this go fund me page for a very wonderful friend of mine Janine who is a Medical Doctor currently volunteering by working at St Andrew's Hospital in Malawi through a charity called Medic Malawi.
The hospital needs electricity to opperate, without it lives are being lost due to daily blackouts which can sometimes last as long as six hours. When this happens none of the machines can work, no tests can be carried out and they have to just do what they can with what they've got. The result of this I'm sure you can imagine.
The hospital used to have a generator that was kindly donated to them by Medic Malawi I believe but this broke down two weeks ago and cannont be fixed. A new one is going to cost £15,000, there is a possibility of them paying a deposit and then paying the rest spread out in smaller amounts but at the moment they haven't even got enough for the deposit and things didn't sound good when I spoke to her on the phone this evening.
If they can get a new generator this won't only save lives in the hospital it will also help provide power to the orphange and school on the same site so any money that anyone can donate will be going to a much, much needed cause.
All donations greatfully recieved, as I'm sure you will appreciate time isn't on our side with this so we need to raise as much money as fast as possible so we can send it over to Malawi and get the generator there for the people in need as quickly as possible.
